Finance & Risk Trainee NN Group
Accelerating your personal leadership journey at the Netherlands’ largest financial services provider. That’s the opportunity you’ll get as a finance & risk trainee at NN Group. Take the lead in exciting assignments in the Netherlands and abroad, and help improve our entire value chain, from asset & liability management and pricing to managing risks and harnessing data. Would you like to contribute to our success, while evolving as a future leader? Kick-start your career and join us as a trainee.
What you are going to do
In this two-year traineeship you will carry out three challenging assignments, rotating in different business units. At the bank, the life or non-life insurer, at our headquarters, or insurance brands such as OHRA and Movir. You may also opt for an assignment at one of our offices abroad, like Madrid, Prague or even Tokyo. That’s how you’ll get to know the ins and outs of our organisation. We’ll select the first assignment and business unit, based on your background and skills. And you will be in charge of shaping your second and third assignments, geared to your interests and learning objectives. Would you like to be involved in risk modelling, business intelligence, or e.g. IFRS17, reporting or investor relations? We don’t lay out a preset path for you: you are free to tailor your traineeship to match your ambitions.
Your traineeship at NN will be a steep learning curve. You and your fellow trainees will take part in the Future Leaders Programme, which focuses on personal leadership. You will also receive in-depth training in subjects ranging from project and stakeholder management to data & AI. And you’ll get expert training from senior leaders in finance and risk-related topics such as IFRS17, Solvency II, pricing, and more. The knowledge you will gain and the network you will build will help you decide where and in what role you’d like to continue contributing to NN’s success after your traineeship.
