How you will make a difference
You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by ensuring an accurate, efficient and correct gross/net administration and payroll process for all Dutch co-workers.
As a part of your daily tasks:
- You will be co-responsible for guaranteeing a correct monthly salary processing of our 3 Dutch-based Business Units. This involves the timely and correct processing of salary mutations, running the salary run(s) and remitting payroll taxes
- You will be dealing with questions and requests from co-workers regarding their pay slips
- You will be handling declarations based on internal policies
- You will collaborate with other teams, like the HR Officers and Compensation & Benefits colleagues to verify data and ensure smooth payroll processing
- You will administer payroll journal entries, monthly payroll and pension return statements
- You will ensure payroll administration is in accordance with Dutch (tax) laws (like ‘werkkostenregeling’)
- You will support role in coordination and processing of international payroll: querying, processing and checking payroll mutations at the foreign branches (in cooperation with EY)

Furthermore, it is expected that you:
- have a proven track record in Dutch payrolling
- are experienced in running a (European) payroll administration, preferably with AFAS
- are able to drill down in financial administration quickly and thoroughly
- are a good communicator, including a proficient level in English in both speaking and writing
- have an education in Loan administration (in Dutch PDL)
- preferably have some experiences or interest in European payroll processes
Your future colleagues
You will report directly to the Head of HR Service Delivery and cooperate closely with your direct payroll colleague. Also you will collaborate closely with HR Officers, HR systems maintenance and Compensation & Benefits. The broader HR team across Triodos Group consists of roughly 50 co-workers.
