To strengthen the Financial and Impact Controlling team, we are looking for an experienced Impact Controller / CSRD Reporting Specialist (medior-senior) to lead our reporting efforts on CSRD and EU-Taxonomy and other sustainability reporting.

How you will make a difference

You will support Triodos Bank in realising its mission and strategy by reporting on the non-financial impact in relation to the financial developments. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, transparent, and regulatory-compliant sustainability reporting. You will collect, analyse, and validate data from various departments while driving high-quality reporting in our Annual Report. From an integrated reporting perspective, you will enable management to understand, monitor and steer on their (non-financial) performance while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Data collection and validation: Gather and verify ESG-related data from different teams within the organisation to ensure compliance with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and EU-Taxonomy regulations and our external commitments.
  • Reporting leadership: Take ownership of the non-financial sections of our Annual Report, ensuring alignment with sustainability standards and coordinate the external audit.
  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships across multiple departments to enhance collaboration on impact reporting processes, establishing yourself as the internal and external focal point.
  • Sector and regulatory insights: Stay up to date with sector developments, emerging best practices, and evolving (regulatory) guidelines on sustainability reporting and integrate them into our reporting framework.
  • Process improvement: Develop and optimise data collection and reporting methodologies for long-term efficiency.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

  • Strong hands-on experience in controlling, financial or sustainability reporting or similar roles, preferably from financial sector
  • Highly developed analytical and abstract thinking and reporting skills
  • Preferably CPA (RA), EMFC (RC) or comparable professional degree
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets and skilled in Excel and tools for business analytics
  • The ability to lead or play a key role in strategic and regulatory projects
  • A proficient level in English in both speaking and writing. Proficiency in the Dutch language is a preference.

Due to the nature of the role, residency in the Netherlands is required.

Your future colleagues

Together with seven other dedicated co-workers you form a multi-disciplinary team, with educational backgrounds varying from Finance and IT to Environmental science and Ecology. Our team language is English. The entire team reports directly to the Head of Financial and Impact Controlling, who in turn reports to the Director Group Controlling. On a daily basis you will be working with various departments and business units across the whole organisation.
