You and your job

Being part of a fixed income trading team, you will be responsible for trading flow products in investment grade bonds, corporates and or financials. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and is a risk enabler.  We will provide the required training to ensure that you build up a good understanding of markets, risk management, trading systems and executions.  At the same time we expect you to be eager to become an independent book(s) manager.

Practical Examples

• Pricing, capturing and execution of deals as well as market making your product for all our clients.
• Manage trading positions/books independently within the appropriate risk limits.
• Engaging in the day-to-day initiation with other traders and Sales.
• Prepare and deliver relevant market intelligence, trends, dynamics, and trading strategies to clients.

Top 5 responsibilities

• Build up specialised knowledge concerning Investment Grade Bonds & Interest Rate Derivatives products.
• Be able to run the trading book(s),  manage the associated risks independently and achieve the P/L targets on a consistent basis.
• Manage trading positions/books within appropriate risk limits. Understand risk exposures of the desk in order to originate axes and risk mitigating trades.
• Act as backup trader in the absence of your colleague/senior trader.

You are a fast thinker under pressure of volatility and risk and would like to gain specialized knowledge in interest rate derivatives and bond products.  You are able to translate the macro and micro developments in global economy to effective position taking and risk management strategies. We are looking for candidates not just with strong intelligence quotient, but also emotional quotient.

The 35 people in Fixed Income Sales and Trading team are responsible for the trading of flow products in interest rate derivatives and bonds. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We bring talented people together to take accountability for enhancing and expanding our Fixed Income FI Sales business in Markets Trading. You and your talent

• 2--3 years of experience in Fixed Income products is required.
• 2-3 years of experience with Bloomberg system is required.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Phyton is essential.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Fast learner with independent risk taking mindset
• Good communication skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic personality.

This is what we offer you

• Up to € 5,800 gross per month (scale 8 or 9, depending on relevant experience, 36h/week, 40h is also possible);
• a thirteenth month and holiday pay;
• discretionary bonus can be part of your annual payment;
